KSL rumoured to be looking to sell Hotel Du Vin and Malmaison

According to reports from Sky News, the owner of the Hotel Du Vin and Malmaison hotel groups, KSL Capital Partners, is looking to put the two groups up for sale after its parent company collapsed into administration.

The private Equity firm, based in Denver, Colorado, has reportedly appointed investment bank UBS to conduct a full review of strategic options for the Malmaison group.

Sky News reported that the review is expected to lead to a formal auction of the two hotel brands, which between them operate nearly 30 sites across the UK, hiring approximately 3000 staff members.
