Meininger Hotels appoints UK head of development in expansion bid
German brand Meininger Hotels has appointed Robert Seeley as UK head of development in a bid to lead the company’s expansion in the UK.
Seeley will be tasked with Meininger’s, which currently has one hotel in London, objective of establishing a presence in all of the UK’s key cities including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Seeley is a founding director of real estate advisory firm RSR Properties, where he has helped identify hotel development opportunities for leading European hotel brands in the budget sectors.
His work with RSR properties will continue alongside his new role with Meininger.

Meininger, which currently operates 16 hotels across 10 European countries, has also announced the appointment of Patrick Sanville as its head of development in France.
