Lancashire hotel first in the UK to install new gym technology

Stanley House Hotel and Spa has teamed up with a leading commercial fitness company to become the first in the UK to install a new type of advanced technology in its gymnasium.

In collaboration with Life Fitness, the hotel now provides a range of brand new high specification gymnasium equipment, such as the Life Fitness IPTV, which allows guests to experience a higher quality TV picture while they train.

The technology used for each cardiovascular piece includes a ‘virtual trainer’ to allow gym goers to plug in a USB to save their sessions and track progress.

All the equipment is synced with a unique training application for smart phones, allowing users to customise the equipment’s settings, schedule workouts and monitor results.
