Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group donates £48,000 to charity

The hotel group celebrated its 10th birthday in June 2017, and marked the milestone by increasing its efforts to give something back to the community

The Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group has raised a total of £48,586 through a charity initiative.

The Manorview teams took part in a variety of challenges to raise money include, abseiling, running, walking, cycling, afternoon teas, quizzes, and charity dinners. Staff have also donated time to helping at various local food banks.

The Manorview head office team, did charity walks, held car boot sales and helped at food banks. Another team also cycled a 60 mile route around four venues to raise money for Breast Cancer Care and the Day Unit of Hairmyres Hospital.

The Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group was founded In 2007, by Glasgow-based Steve Graham.

Graham, MD, said, “At Manorview we instil a strong emphasises on the value of people. Our charity initiative grows that ethos to go beyond our Manorview team to cultivate care and consideration for others.

“We encourage a philosophy which encompasses valuing ourselves as a team, as well as the customers who visit our venues, and the people in our communities who may need help. I believe we can extend our networks to give something back.”

He added: “There’s so much we can do and achieve collectively to help others. By working together, we can help to make a difference and contribute to our communities and wider networks.”
