New chief commercial officer joins RBH

Newly rebranded hotel management group RBH has appointment Ian Barrigan as its new chief commercial officer (CCO).

Barrigan will be based in the company’s London head office and will “spearhead commercial strategies across the company’s portfolio”, which currently stands at more than 70 properties.

He has worked within the travel industry for 30 years and has had experience in transforming commercial performance at major firms including British Airways, Hilton Hotels and Guoman Thistle.

Commenting on his appointment, Barrigan said: “I’ve gathered extensive experience within the wider travel industry, and I’m looking forward to bringing that to my new role within RBH. The hotel sector is constantly changing and developing – there’s never a dull moment. I look forward to working with the RBH team to maximise owner returns.”
