Travelodge to fill 680 roles ahead of summer season

The group is also recruiting for 637 full and part time positions, and also looking for 19 maintenance engineers to join its nationwide in-house maintenance team

Travelodge has announced that it is looking to fill 680 positions across the country in readiness for the upcoming staycation season. 

This recruitment drive includes 637 full and part time positions across the company’s 582 UK hotels. 

Positions include 45 management roles for hotel manager and assistant hotel manager positions. The other roles include: bar café team member, housekeeping team member and receptionist.

Travelodge is also recruiting for 19 maintenance engineers to join its nationwide in-house maintenance team. These full time positions are field based, carrying out a variety of maintenance related tasks across the sites.

Each maintenance engineer will be given their own network of hotels to service as well as a branded kitted-out vehicle to enable them to travel across the network of hotels. They will also receive a comprehensive personal package of branded uniform and high quality tools.

Travelodge said it is the only UK budget hotel chain that has invested in a bespoke dedicated in-house maintenance team of experts.

In addition, the company is looking to fill 24 roles at its head office in Thame, Oxfordshire which includes positions in: Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, PR, Property, Revenue, Sales and UK Operations.
