Jastar Capital appoints Axiom Hospitality to manage two hotels

Hotels, real estate and private equity business, Jastar Capital, has announced the appointment of Axiom Hospitality to operate The Elvetham Hotel and The Winchester Hotel and Spa. Jastar Capital acquired the two properties in 2019 and 2021 respectively. Axiom Hospitality manages over 15 hotels in key locations across the UK under international brands such as Hilton, Marriott and IHG. The Elvetham is a country house hotel set in 35 acres of gardens, consisting of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables. It also offers four function rooms including a traditional library. In addition, the hotel also has its own restaurant, Sylvanus, which is said to have views of the grounds and offer afternoon tea and seasonal menus, as well as the Gloriana Bar for cocktails and “light bites”. The Winchester Hotel and Spa consists of 96 bedrooms across four room types, flexible function rooms, as well as a bar and restaurant open throughout the day. It is reported that the property is currently undergoing refurbishment in the public areas and bedrooms to “bring a fresh new look”. The refurbishment of the spa has recently been completed and now offers a new plunge-pool, steam room, sauna, and hydro-pool, as well as a fitness studio and six new treatment rooms.
