Burnham Beeches Hotel, a luxury Georgian manor in Buckinghamshire, is set to complete a multi-million-pound refurbishment under Immersive Hospitality Management’s new sub-brand, Imerso Hotels. Scheduled for November, the redesign emphasizes wellness, connectivity, and sustainability. The 80-bedroom hotel will feature nature-inspired interiors, including an open reception area with a tree-planted atrium and forest-themed design elements. Rooms incorporate exotic fabrics, rich textures, and historical influences like Chinoiserie wallpaper. Enhancements include the revamped Verdure Lounge cocktail bar, Brasserie 1727, and the Evergreen Tearoom, alongside a white wedding pavilion and private dining options. The Soul Spa Health Club boasts Temple Spa treatments, updated pool areas, and a state-of-the-art gym, blending contemporary luxury with the property’s heritage.  

The Grade-II listed Great Northern Hotel in King’s Cross has appointed Albio Ziu as pastry chef for its restaurant, Rails. With over a decade of experience at prestigious venues like The Bloomsbury Hotel and Searcy’s Pall Mall, Ziu will collaborate with head chef Mark Weir to craft innovative desserts, seasonal afternoon teas, and corporate dining packages. Ziu aims to enhance the dining experience with exquisite pastries, including expanded vegan and gluten-free options. Jenni Lehtonen, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing, praised Ziu’s creativity and passion for detail, calling him an ideal addition to the team.
