Marriott Bonvoy has opened its second Four Points Flex property in London with the launch of Four Points Flex by Sheraton London Shoreditch East. This modern, adaptable hotel features 161 guest rooms and social spaces, including a lobby lounge with all-day dining. Situated near key attractions like Shoreditch High Street and Brick Lane Market, the hotel is managed by Cycas Hospitality, marking its seventh Marriott property in the UK. Guido Lang of Tite Street Capital highlighted the hotel’s design and hospitality, aligning with Shoreditch’s vibrant culture.

Timur Sentuerk has been appointed CEO of The Doyle Collection, bringing over 30 years of luxury hospitality experience. Previously, he served as COO at Kempinski Hotels and held roles with brands like Ritz-Carlton and Pan Pacific. Sentuerk plans to innovate operations, expand the brand’s market presence, and maintain its heritage of service and family ownership. He aims to deliver exceptional guest experiences while modernizing the brand to appeal to today’s consumers.

Claridge’s owner Maybourne plans to triple its hotel portfolio by 2035, growing from six properties to 15–17. The company will open hotels in Paris’s Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Hampshire, along with new builds in Dubai and New York. Co-CEOs Gianluca Muzzi and Marc Socker aim to shift Maybourne from a business-focused brand to a lifestyle-driven one, emphasizing unique guest experiences and strengthening the management company. The group, owned by Qatari royals, seeks to preserve historical landmarks while evolving its identity to meet modern travel trends.
