A new timber food pavilion featuring local food vendors and a convenience shop will replace shipping containers. Twelve beach loft suites with grass roofs will integrate with the natural landscape. Accessibility improvements include better pedestrian pathways and enhanced greenery. Liverpool hotels and serviced apartments may charge a £2 nightly tourist levy starting June 2025, pending industry approval. Funds collected through the Accommodation BID will support the city’s visitor economy by hosting major events, improving public spaces, and attracting business tourism. With potential revenue of £6.7m over two years, this levy could significantly boost the local economy.
