Mews, a hospitality cloud platform, has extended its partnership with Criterion Hospitality through a multi-year agreement. The deal enables Criterion to enhance automation, revenue management, and guest experience using Mews’ integrated systems. Currently, eight Criterion hotels, including the Zedwell portfolio, operate on Mews, with more properties joining over the next 18 months. Criterion’s Zedwell brand, which already has multiple London locations, plans to expand to 8,500 rooms by 2027, reaching cities like York, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Executives from both companies praised the partnership for its innovation and efficiency in improving hospitality operations.
The Townhouse, a boutique hotel in central Durham, has been put on the market for £1.2m plus VAT. The well-reviewed property includes a stylish reception area, bar, and a 30-cover restaurant, with an unused first-floor space that could be converted into accommodation. Located near Durham’s castle, cathedral, and university, the hotel benefits from strong tourism and student footfall. The Forbes Travel Guide has once again awarded five-star ratings to Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge. Park Lane, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary, boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant, a rooftop spa, and a reputation for warm, personalized service. Meanwhile, the Tower Bridge location, housed in a Grade II-listed building, features luxury accommodations such as the Skyline Penthouse with a private gym and cinema. Four Seasons UK’s regional VP, Lynn Brutman, credited the recognition to the staff’s dedication to exceptional service.
