The Grove, a luxury hotel and spa in Hertfordshire, is unveiling a redesigned walled garden and two new self-contained cottages. The walled garden, transformed by Martin Hulbert Design, will reopen on April 3 with a revamped heated outdoor pool, upgraded children’s facilities, and enhanced outdoor spa and dining experiences. It will also feature two new private event spaces, accessible to hotel guests, members, and spa visitors. Additionally, from June 2, The Grove will offer two ultra-luxury cottages, Wisteria and Dingle, within its 300-acre estate. These high-end accommodations include private jacuzzis, stocked pantries, and optional private chef services.

Marriott plans to double its Four Points Flex by Sheraton portfolio in Europe by 2026, targeting over 50 properties. The brand, which launched in 2023, caters to midscale travelers seeking value-driven accommodations. With 25 operational hotels across Europe and a rapid expansion strategy, Marriott sees strong demand from hotel owners looking for affordable conversion opportunities. Upcoming UK locations include Edinburgh and Brighton.

Grand Metropolitan Hotels has acquired Voile d’Or Hotels and Resorts, a luxury collection with properties in London, Paris, New York, and other high-end destinations. The brand will expand under the leadership of Jacques Oudinot, with planned openings in the Maldives, Dubai, and Lisbon. Voile d’Or’s flagship property in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat will undergo an extensive reopening in 2029.

Blue Orchid Hospitality has received approval to convert Atlas House in London’s historic City district into a boutique hotel. The Grade II listed building will feature 104 rooms, a restaurant, bar, health club, and flexible workspaces. The project, led by Integrity International Group, aims to enhance the building’s sustainability while preserving its historic charm. Owner Tony Matharu emphasizes the group’s commitment to revitalising London’s hospitality sector.
