With over 20 years of international luxury hospitality experience, Tudela has held senior roles at five-star properties including the W Hotel in Barcelona and the Landmark Hotel in London. He joined The Montenotte as director of operations in 2024, quickly proving instrumental to the team. Now promoted, he succeeds Frits Potgieter and will oversee operations across all departments, including spa, F&B outlets, and the exclusive Woodland Suite Experience. Jon Siberry, SDK’s founder, has taken the role of director of revenue management, overseeing the group’s 14-property portfolio. With 30+ years in hotel operations and a background in hotel management, Siberry will focus on distribution, rate strategy, tech integration, and business analysis. In Bridport, Dorset, the Bridge House Hotel is up for sale with a guide price of £950,000. Built in 1768, the Georgian-style property includes 10 ensuite guest rooms, a two/three-bedroom apartment, multiple dining areas, and a garden bar. Under current owners Sara and Marcus since 2017, the property has been tastefully restored. Its location near the Jurassic Coast makes it attractive to both seasoned operators and first-time buyers, according to Stephen Champion of Christie and Co.

Seckford Hall Hotel in Suffolk is set for significant development following planning approval for a new 27-room building, seven treehouse lodges, and a glazed F&B pavilion. Originally built in 1553, the hotel has been under redevelopment since its 2018 acquisition. Architects Tate and Co aim to blend historical respect with modern wellness-focused hospitality. The masterplan also includes a new spa and leisure offerings. Project architect Hannah Pinsent and hotel co-owner Tammy Madge emphasized creating a guest experience that harmonizes with the landscape and the property’s Tudor heritage.
