New GM appointed at Marriott Inverness Airport

Ina Davies has been appointed as the new GM of the Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport.

An experienced hotelier, Davies, will manage the brand new hotel, which will see the Courtyard by Marriott brand makes its debut in the city.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the hotel industry, Davies will oversee the launch and opening of the airport hotel which is being brought to Inverness by owner, Molo Hotels, and operator, RBH.

As well as spending 10 years as GM at Holiday Inn Express Inverness, Davies has also led the teams at Pentahotel Inverness and Golf View Hotel & Spa. Her most recent role saw her take charge of the food and beverage team at Inverness College.

The new multi-million pound, 130-bedroom modular build will be situated within Inverness Airport Business Park. It will also boast meetings and fitness facilities, a bar and bistro.

Davies said: “I’m thrilled to have been appointed to the role of General Manager on what will be an exciting addition to the Inverness hotel scene. Not only is it the first Courtyard by Marriott to come to the city, but it also marks the first new-build hotel in the area for a number of years.

“I look forward to welcoming guests when we finally open our doors later this year, and to offering them nothing less than first-class service and an exceptional experience, with all of the warmth and hospitality that Inverness is renowned for.”
