Your Place launches Bower House in London

In this episode we speak to brothers Alex and Adrien Grosjean, young entrepreneurs who have recently acquired The Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly. We discussed the reasons why Manchester’s visitor market is booming, and their decision to invest in this area, why they see extended-stay accommodation as a major opportunity in what is one of the UK's fastest-growing cities, how they plan to enhance their portfolio of hotels, and their advice for the next generation of hospitality disruptors.

Independent boutique accommodation group Your Place is set to open Bower House, a 10-room hotel in Pimlico, in March 2026.

The opening will mark the company’s third London property, joining the Georgian House Hotel and Chinnery House Apartments.

The restoration and interior design of the period building has been led by Gabe von der Heyde, with original features retained alongside antiques, bespoke artwork, soft furnishings from Birdie Fortescue and lighting by Pooky.

Your Place said the hotel would offer a relaxed style of hospitality aimed at creating a home-from-home experience for guests.

The company, which is family run, said the launch reflects its focus on restoring historic buildings and bringing them back into use as small-scale accommodation.

Bower House will offer single, double and family rooms, with prices starting from £120 per night. Guests can opt for a breakfast bag including juice, fruit and pastries, and order room service through the FeastHQ app.

Serena von der Heyde, founder of Your Place, said: “Bower House embodies our vision to make boutique hospitality attainable, without compromising on style or quality. We want our guests to enjoy London with a stay that is both affordable and distinctly special.”
