Holiday Inn Leicester completes £125k refurb amid business award win
Holiday Inn Express Leicester has unveiled the results of a £125,000 bedroom refurbishment during the same week it won a Midlands Business Award.
The hotel was named ‘Best Value Accommodation Provider’ awarded for its “innovation, business growth, online reputation, customer feedback and overall business performance.”
The award follows the completion of the six-figure makeover, which has seen all 110 bedrooms upgraded in line with Holiday Inn Express’ ‘Generation 4’ standards.
RBH, which manages the hotel, said the investment has seen guest feedback acted upon, with multiple USB charging ports installed in each room – including by beds – and super high-speed internet installed.
Andrew Ross, general manager of Holiday Inn Express Leicester, said: “We are thrilled to unveil the results of our recent refurbishment to guests, but to also be named ‘Best Value Accommodation Provider’ at the prestigious Midlands Enterprise Awards is the icing on the cake – and is testament to the hard work of our fantastic team.
“The transformation of all 110 bedrooms means that we will provide our guests with even better value for money thanks to the improved comfort and facilities offered by Holiday Inn Express’ Generation 4 bedrooms.”
He added: “We’re now truly at the forefront of excellent and affordable accommodation in Leicester for both business and leisure guests, and are able to offer an even better experience. We’re already seeing an uplift in repeat guests and have been receiving great feedback.”
