Travelodge to open six hotels in lead up to Christmas

Budget hotel chain Travelodge has announced it is opening six hotels in the lead up to Christmas.

This equates to an average of one hotel opening every 12 days with the six hotels representing an appropriate investment value of £45m for third party investors, creating 135 new jobs. They will also boost the company’s portfolio to 595 hotels in the UK, Ireland and Spain.

The six Travelodge hotels opening over the next 12 weeks includes one Travelodge Plus hotel, two hotels featuring SuperRooms, three new towns getting their first Travelodge and four hotels with an on-site restaurant called the Bar Café.

Hotels locations include: Chippenham, Edinburgh, London Dagenham & Beckton, Rochester and Sittingbourne.
