Leonardo Hotels appoints new hotel manager to St. Paul’s flagship
Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland has appointed Chris Swithenbank as the new hotel manager at its London flagship hotel, Leonardo Royal London St. Paul’s.
Swithenbank joins the Leonardo Royal property from his role as GM of Jurys Inn Cardiff, where he’s been for the past year. In his new role, Swithenbank will be supporting current GM, Tony Hill, to help achieve business goals for the property’
Having previously held a number of senior management positions at both branded and privately-run hotels, Swithenbank joined Jurys Inn in 2015 as deputy GM at Jurys Inn Milton Keynes.
In February 2017, he was appointed deputy GM at the 362-room Jurys Inn Hinckley Island Hotel and Conference Venue. In this role, he oversaw the completion of a £14m refurbishment and along with his team helped deliver a “record-breaking” revenue year.
Leonardo Royal London St. Paul’s is home to 23 meeting and conference suites. Including the Wren and Shakespeare rooms which can be combined to host 700 people theatre style or 1200 standing.
The 460-room property is also home to five on-site bars and restaurants, including Benihana, luxury Rena Spa and a fully-equipped fitness centre.
