The Fish Inn brought to market for £1.35m

The Fish Inn, located in the Lake District, has been placed on the property market at a freehold asking price of £1.35m.

The 10-bedroom inn offers en-suite accommodation, a breakfast room and lounge for guests, along with a public bar and restaurant for around 70 patrons.

The Fish Inn has been owned and operated by the current owners, Jean and John Richardson since 1968, and they are now seeking a sale in order to pursue retirement.

Alistair Greenhalgh, director at Christie and Co, who is handling the sale, said: “The reduced asking price makes this a once in a lifetime opportunity even more attractive to potential purchasers.

“Though the business currently trades strongly from both the existing letting bedrooms and the food and beverage trade, an incoming operator will have the opportunity to develop this further as there are currently five staff bedrooms and two owner’s flats which could be converted into additional letting accommodation if required.”
