The London Edition to reopen for Christmas

The London Edition, a luxury hotel situated on the edge of Soho, is set to reopen on 3 December after remaining closed since the spring.

Created by the hotelier and real estate developer, Ian Schrager, and Marriott International, the boutique establishment will provide a Christmas package upon reopening.

Both the bar and restaurant, named Berners Tavern, will be open to guests with head chef, Phil Carmichael, putting on a £150pp Christmas day dining option.

A press release by the Edition, ensured that returning customers can expect to receive the “hallmarks” of the brand upon reopening.

With “lasting comfort, extraordinary style and an exceptional level of detail situated in a uniquely individual, design led environment”, the hotel promises a continuation of its established boutique services.

The London hotel is able to reopen due to the region being placed into Tier 2 of the latest Covid-19 restrictions, which allows for alcohol to be served alongside a substantial meal until 10pm.

The brand is currently extending its portfolio in the US, with hotels coming soon to multiple locations, including Las Vegas and Tampa.
