Lord’s Cricket Ground joins the HBAA

Lord’s Cricket Ground has signed up to the Hotel Bookings Agents Association (HBAA).

Lord’s, regarded as the ‘home of cricket’, has joined the HBAA with the aim of marketing the venue to the UK’s leading conference and event agents.

With some of the most revered rooms in cricket, all located within its Grade II listed pavilion, London-based Lord’s has seen an increase in demand for corporate meetings and events, as organisations seek something unique and memorable.

Chris Peacock, HBAA Chairman, said: “We are thrilled that Lord’s has joined the association.

“Collectively we will continue to develop policies and drive to attract other iconic venues to join the association.”

Nick Kenton, meetings and events sales manager at Lord’s, added: “As a world-class venue for conferences and events as well as being the ‘home of cricket’, it’s crucial that we are part of the organisation that drives standards and promotes innovation within our sector. I am delighted we have joined the HBAA.”
