Wivenhoe House receives high acclaim from AA

The AA has awarded luxury Essex hotel Wivenhoe House four stars and its restaurant Signatures two rosettes to put the hotel among the best in East Anglia.

Home to the UK’s first in-house hotel school, Edge Hotel School, the Colchester-based hotel received praise for the high standard of the hotel and its food. The AA inspector who stayed at the hotel commented that the “quality of the food offered throughout the visit comfortably exceeded expectations” and that the “stylish lounges, bars and day rooms [were] presented to a very high standard”.
