Mission Impossible most watched hotel film of 2012

Quadriga has revealed that Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was the most watched on-demand film of 2012.

Using data captured from its 230,000 guest rooms across Europe and the US, Quadriga was able to determine that the fourth instalment of the Mission: Impossible series was viewed by more guests than any other during last year.

Additionally, Quadriga reported a year-on-year increase in viewing levels across its Sensiq guest communications platform.

Partnership and product director at Quadriga, Paul Wilson commented: “This data reinforces that alongside the growing trend towards guests bringing their own content into the hotel, these initiatives are helping to sustain and grow this important source of guest revenue. With Quadriga’s new ‘Personal Media Network’ and the ‘PMN’ mobile app, guests are now able to select and control movies from their mobile device, for play on the in-room TV, and ultimately anywhere in the hotel, which further encourages purchase.”

Quadriga is already predicting Skyfall, released to the majority of the Quadriga estate in January, will be there or thereabouts when it comes to revealing its most watched film of 2013.
