Longstanding and popular head concierge, Colin Parkes from Carys Manor Hotel & SenSpa has been awarded the prestigious title of “Concierge of the Year – Regional Member Award” winner.

Having been many guests first point of contact when arriving at Carys Manor Hotel & SenSpa for over 30 years, Colin Parkes offers a warm welcome, a friendly smile and a personal touch to the entrance of the stunning 17th century manor house.

As one of the hotel’s longest serving employees, Colin takes great pride in his work, something that is clearly evident in reviews left by many guests staying at the hotel. Now in recognition of his exemplarily customer service, and his outstanding contribution to the industry as a whole, Colin has been awarded the acclaimed title of ‘Concierge of the Year – Regional Member’ in the eighth Morris Golden Keys Concierge Awards 2013.

The ceremony, held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel in London brought together members of the Golden Keys Concierge from all over the country to celebrate the best of all the industry has to offer. Having been awarded the winner of the well-respected category, Colin said: “I am truly grateful to have been selected as the regional winner of the Golden Keys Concierge Awards, especially in a category with such strong competition. As head concierge, my job revolves around customer service and I guess it’s just something that comes naturally, although I certainly do not take it for granted.”
