Imago Venues has appointed Samantha Chaplin as the new hotel manager of the Link Hotel in Loughborough.

Chaplin re-joins the Imago Venues’ family after two years working at The Belfry and DHL Express UK. Prior to that she spent 12 years in various roles across the Imago Venues’ portfolio including the management of various teams.

The 94-bedroom property provides conference and meeting facilities for up to 200 people.

Emma Boynton, Imago Venues’ head of sales and marketing, said: “Samantha really understands the Imago Venues’ ethos whilst having the requisite skills to take on this demanding job.

“The Link Hotel is a fundamental part of our portfolio and I am delighted to see it in such safe hands. I am confident that Samantha will continue to develop the hotel’s success story moving forward.”

Chaplin added: “Ultimately our success is reliant on having the best people in each role, delivering great value and service levels to our clients. Our reputation as a whole continues to grow because of that and it is something I will continue to instil in my team moving forward.”
