Kingfisher Resorts Meudon has completed the acquisition of Cornwall’s Meudon Country House Hotel off a guide price of £3.5m

The deal also includes the sale of Bream House, a five-bedroom house in a private position.

Meudon Country House Hotel comprises 30 en-suite bedrooms, an AA Rosette restaurant, a bar and lounge, a tapestry room, and a studio.

Also included with the property is over eight acres of subtropical gardens and views of Bream Cove dating back to the 1800s.

James Greenslade, associate director of hotels at Savills Exeter who is handling the sale, said: “Meudon Hotel provides a unique experience to its guests from its outstanding private location on the south coast of Cornwall to the mature gardens and private beach.

“With staycations rising in popularity, locations that can provide that right mix of experiences close to tourist destinations will continue to perform well and we expect demand for these assets to remain strong in 2021.”
