City ID Group has announced that it will rebrand as The July ahead of a planned European expansion.

The July is a set of aparthotels currently based in Amsterdam but the company is set to open sites in London, Dublin and Lisbon over the next few years.

The July London will be the brand’s first overseas acquisition and will be an aparthotel based in Victoria.

It will have over 100 apartments, flexible workspace, a seasonal restaurant and bar and a gym and wellness area.

The July Dublin will be located on the corner of Capel Street and Little Strand Street and will draw on the city’s “rich architectural heritage”.

Evi-anne Knijnenburg, creative brand manager, said: “Apartment living creates a greater connection to neighbourhood community life, so stays at The July can be lived like a local, enjoying flexibility, freedom and that Friday morning fitness class.

“It’s a place where guests can find their flow and switch from work to play in the blink of a G&T. It’s a space where neighbours host dinner parties in one apartment and guests enjoy a birthday cake in another. Your stay, your way.”
