Tewkesbury Park Hotel has appointed pastry chef Jiju Narayan to its new culinary team.

Born in Southern India and hailing from Dubai, Narayan brings a wealth of experience, having been an integral part of the re-opening team for the five-star Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Renowned for his exceptional talent and innovative approach to pastry, Narayan views desserts not just as “delectable treats but as works of art on a plate”.

Drawing inspiration from the “world of artistry”, his commitment to “excellence” extends to exploring vegan alternatives and reducing sugar content without compromising on flavour.

For Narayan, the goal is to create desserts that not “only wow guests but contribute to a healthier dining experience”.

The McIntosh family acquired Tewkesbury Park in 2014 and undertook a complete renovation and restoration project – transforming the site into a new hotel, golf and leisure resort.

The hotel features an 18-hole golf course, meetings and events space, suites and the Berkeley Bar and Terrace.

Narayan said: “I see desserts as a canvas for creativity to surprise and delight our guests. I’m excited to bring my passion for innovation and contribute to the exceptional dining experience that Tewkesbury Park delivers.”
