PoB Hotels has extended its portfolio with the addition of two properties, The Montagu Arms in the New Forest and Homewood Hotel and Spa, which is close to Bath. The Montagu Arms is situated in Beaulieu in the New Forest. The hotel’s 33 bedrooms and suites are spread across the original chauffeur garages and a newer development, “all combining comfort and sophistication to suit the charming country house”.

The hotel hosts weddings and offers a bespoke seven-course wedding breakfast. It also features modern-British restaurant The Terrace, which serves dishes inspired by the New Forest, and country pub Monty’s Inn, which serves homemade food and local ales.

Meanwhile, Homewood Hotel and Spa is an “eclectic” country house hotel situated 10 minutes from the centre of Bath. The Georgian retreat features 31 rooms and suites across the main house and the newly launched Mallingford Mews, which has views over the Avon Valley.

The hotel’s restaurant, Olio, provides locally sourced Mediterranean-style dishes, and in the summer guests can use the Olio Terrace and regular pop-ups in the kitchen garden. There is also a spa with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub with views over the valley.

Kalindi Juneja, CEO of PoB Hotels, said: “These two exceptional properties perfectly complement our portfolio, embodying the epitome of luxury, elegance, and personalised service. As we continue to expand our collection, we remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests in destinations that inspire and enchant guests whilst championing the best independent hotels across the British Isles.”

Andrew Berridge, general manager of The Montagu Arms, added: “It is an honour to join the esteemed PoB Hotels collection. Montagu Arms embodies the spirit of offering uber localised experiences to our guests and want them to experience a haven of tranquillity and luxury amidst nature’s embrace. Our vision aligns perfectly with PoB Hotels and look forward to growing our commercial reach through this esteemed partnership.”

Ed Fitzpatrick, general manager of Homewood Hotel and Spa, concluded: “We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with PoB Hotels. After the last couple of years of dedicated development and the implementation of elevated standards, we are primed and eager to take our property to the next level. With PoB Hotels’ support, we are confident that Homewood will continue to exceed expectations, welcoming new domestic guests through our doors.”
