Two hotels in the Midlands, Forest Lodge Hotel and Hadley Park House, have been sold to new owners for undisclosed prices, reflecting “continued demand” for hotels in the region.
Hadley Park House is a Grade II listed property located in the Shropshire market town of Telford, and has been purchased by a local businessman.
The four-star hotel features 22 bedrooms and is a highly popular wedding and events venue. It has won many accolades over the years, including TripAdvisor’s 2023 Traveller’s Choice Award.
Meanwhile, Forest Lodge Hotel is a hotel, pub and restaurant, centrally located in the village of Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. The hotel was under the same ownership for 17 years and has now been purchased by an overseas buyer.
David Lee, regional director at Christie and Co, who handled the sales, said: “We were pleased to complete our latest two hotel deals in the Midlands region. The market for all types of hotels remains buoyant, we would like to wish both owners success in their new ventures.”
