The Montenotte Hotel partners with The Know

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

The Montenotte Hotel in Cork is the first Irish hotel to partner with The Know, a mystery guest service for luxury and boutique hotels.

Founded by Fiona Adams and Mané Ryatt, The Know provides detailed, confidential and qualitative insight from guests, and allows hotels to benchmark their performance and gain proprietary market insight into guest preferences.

The boutique hotel is situated on a hillside, only a short walk from the centre of Cork City, and offers views of the vibrant city and River Lee below. The property also features a spa indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, and a 50-seater private cinema which offers nightly movies for residents.

Brian Bowler, GM of The Montenotte Hotel, said: “At the Montenotte we are committed to providing our guests with the best possible standards of comfort and service and in order to consistently achieve this we must continuously appraise our performance to see how we are doing.

“We are now delighted to be working with The Know as they will provide us with a balanced and measured feedback system that will assist us in continually enhancing our offering and service as well as providing us with opportunities to develop our team by identifying potential training needs.”
