The Radisson Blu located in Belfast has this month (September 2020), been placed on the market for sale.

CBRE’s hotel division is seeking offers in the region of £16m for the four-star Radisson Blu Hotel Belfast and adjoining Lighthouse office building.

The hotel first opened its doors in 2004, and houses 120 guest bedrooms, along with seven meeting rooms.  There are also extensive food and beverage facilities including The Gasworks Restaurant & Bar.

Paul Collins, executive director, hotels at CBRE, said: “We are expecting significant interest in the Radisson Blu, which is one of Belfast’s premier offerings and has always maintained a strong occupancy rate.

“After a period of inactivity, buyers are now back in the market and keen to take advantage of acquisition opportunities in the current climate.

He added: “The property is competitively priced at a significant discount to replacement cost. Belfast is one of Europe’s key tourist destinations and will continue to be so.

“The adjoining extensive Lighthouse office building provides flexibility to extend the hotel facilities or to create a valuable investment.”
