Boutique hotel Oddfellows has launched its second in a series of five apartments, located near the River Dee in Chester.
The design of the second apartment was conceived by hotel manager Sarah Dougherty, who said that it uses the same inspiration as Oddfellows, “historical travelling adventures”.
Dougherty said: “It was a great project putting together the design for the apartment. We had all the initial concept work done, so it was a matter of applying that to how our guests live and enjoy the apartments.
“I took on board all the comments we had from the first apartment and used them to dictate how it looked and which amenities were most important to our guests.”
Jake Lawley, reception manager said: “We’ve had wonderful feedback from our apartments. It offers all the convenience of booking and staying at Oddfellows but with bags of room and a sense of privacy.
“It’s working well for all types of guests; from groups of friends who want a communal living area to relax in, to the families who like to have the car parked outside and the kitchen facilities to the single businessman who is away for more than a night and misses his home comforts.”
The launch follows the news late last year that Oddfellows is to open a second site in Cheadle, Manchester, with architect Tim Groom transforming the property into a 23-bedroom hotel.
