The London Heathrow Marriott has announced plans for a multi-million pound refurbishment of its conference and meeting spaces.
The project, which is due to be completed by May 2016, will include the addition of 14 redesigned, multipurpose meeting rooms within 1,800 sq metres of refurbished conference space.
The new facility will offer meeting room capacity for up to 480 people with the addition of four new meeting rooms equipped with new technology.
Meanwhile the refurbishment will also include a food and beverage options, seating areas, flexible social spaces and an increase in the hotel’s pre-function area for accommodating larger conferences and exhibitions.
Ron Vos, general manager, said: “This has been a major source of investment for the hotel and we can’t wait for guests to see the new conference and meeting space once completed.”
