Royal reception for Grosvenor House book launch

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

HRH The Princess Royal recently attended the launch of Her Regiment’s book Uniquely British at Grosvenor House, AJW Marriott Hotel.

Compiled by The Household Cavalry’s men and officers, the book tells the story of the crucial role Britain’s most senior Regiment played in a historic year for the country. From April 2011’s Royal Wedding to this year’s Diamond Jubilee festivities, the book depicts both events with a collection of photographs.

HRH Princess Anne, Colonel of the Blues and Royals, joined soldiers and special guests in a champagne reception in the ballroom at Grosvenor House along with Marriott area vice president (UK South and Ireland), Ed Hubennette; general manager Stuart Bowery; and director of sales and marketing, Vicki Richards who all had the privilege of meeting Princess Anne at the event.

Sponsored by Marriott Hotels, Uniquely British will raise funds for the regiment’s newly formed Household Cavalry Foundation charity, which supports injured soldiers, bereaved families, veterans and retired horses.
