WhaleFest, one of the largest celebrations of wild whales and dolphins in the world, will this year be held at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.

This year’s WhaleFest marks the 30th anniversary of the world’s governments’ vote to suspend the hunting of whales.

The 1982 announcement of the vote was made outside the Hilton Brighton Metropole. In celebration, WhaleFest will be held where, in its own words, “thirty years ago the world voted to save them!”

With numerous meeting rooms and ample space for events, Hilton Brighton Metropole will house WhaleFest’s 35 life-size whales, dolphins, sharks, seals and turtles, as well as play host to a sandy beach, a real-time virtual whale watching trip and a dive pool.
