Classic British Hotels has added Whittlebury Park to its nationwide portfolio to increase its capacity for corporate and leisure bookings.
The 700-acre estate in Northamptonshire features a spa, 36-hole golf complex, and 254 guest rooms.
The property is situated near the Silverstone circuit and occupies land formerly used as medieval royal hunting grounds.
It maintains an independent operational structure while gaining access to the group’s global distribution and marketing strategies.
Whittlebury Park includes the Murrays restaurant, which holds three AA Rosettes and is led by executive estate chef Harvey Lockwood.
The estate also houses a five-bubble rated day spa and facilities for large-scale corporate retreats.
Phillip Allsopp, Managing director of Classic British Hotels, said: “Whittlebury Park defines the calibre of property we look for. It combines genuine heritage with a commercial breadth that few independent hotels can match. From its award-winning spa to its 3-AA Rosette dining, it is a powerhouse addition to our collection.”
Marc Webster, commercial director of Whittlebury Park, added: “Joining Classic British Hotels allows us to share our unique estate with a wider audience while staying true to our independent roots. We look forward to the expanded market reach this partnership provides.”
