Signature Living owners honoured on Guardian’s Pride Power list

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Lawrence and Katie Kenwright, owners of hospitality group Signature Living, have been honoured in the Guardian’s 2017 Pride Power List for their commitment to the LGBT community.

The husband and wife are part of the straight ally list (published Saturday 8 July 2017), celebrating their dedication to supporting diversity both within the workforce at the company and externally.

The couple are “hugely supportive” of the LGBT community and promote diversity throughout their entire company with some of their most senior members of staff being part of the LGBT community.

They are also sponsors of the upcoming Liverpool Pride Festival and the British LGBT Awards.

Katie Kenwright said: “Lawrence and I are proud to be honoured in the 2017 Pride Power list as straight allies. We’re both passionate about supporting the LGBT community in any way that we can, and we’ve sponsored both local and national events this year to demonstrate that.

“We believe in tolerance and acceptance at Signature Living, and we couldn’t be happier to be acknowledged in The Guardian for this.”
