Ibis Hotels announces partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Ibis Hotels has announced a three-year partnership with care and support charity Teenage Cancer Trust.
Over the coming years, the hotel brand will aid Teenage Cancer Trust through a series of special events, fundraisers and company-wide activities.

All funds will go to the charity’s ongoing work providing world-class care and support to young people across the UK facing cancer.

Fundraising began with the launch of Ibis Lates on Tour, that sees the group transform hotel public spaces across the country into exclusive live gig venues.

The aim is to help provide a stage to showcase young, up and coming music talent to the hotel group’s millennial audiences. The series will continue with gigs in Bristol and Scotland in the coming months, with ticket proceeds and donations going directly to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Throughout the summer, Ibis is also offering VIP SweetBed experiences at Big Beach Screen Events. The series of open air cinema events offer film fans the chance to buy the VIP package to watch a film or event of their choice in an Ibis bed to raise money for charity.

As well as this, Ibis staff will be joining the Teenage Cancer Trust’s national fundraising event, Get Wiggy With It, and Ibis Onsie Day, as well as creating their own personal challenges such as bake offs, raffles and even a bike ride across the desert.

James Wheatcroft, VP marketing at AccorHotels UK, said: “Through this partnership, Ibis Hotels has a genuine opportunity to help make an impact on the lives of young people with cancer.

“Teenage Cancer Trust is a fun, vibrant charity that reflects our values and we’re calling on our local communities and staff across the UK to support our fundraising.”

Nicola Bott, head of corporate development at Teenage Cancer Trust, added: “We strive to ensure young people’s lives don’t stop because they have cancer. We’ve made great progress in making sure young people with cancer have the best treatment, care and support.

“Every penny raised will make the vital work of Teenage Cancer Trust possible – we’re hugely grateful for Ibis’s support.”
