The InterContinental London at The O2 arena has appointmented Globy Ouseph as general manager with immediate effect.
Globy began his career in the hotel and hospitality industry 16 years ago, and his previous roles within the Arora Hotels group include director of food and beverage and GM at Sofitel London Heathrow. Prior to joining Arora Hotels, he had various roles in Hilton, specifically at the Waldorf Hilton.
The O2 property has 453 guest rooms, a spa with 17m pool and a collection of restaurants and bars.
Vincent Madden, director of hotel operations at the Arora Group, said: “We’re delighted to announce that Globy has joined the team at InterContinental London – The O2. Globy brings a wealth of experience of the hotel sector and, importantly, the Arora brand, having worked at several of our hotels.
“Globy is highly skilled at developing key business goals whilst also inspiring his team and ensuring that customer service remains paramount.”
On his appointment, Ouseph said: “I am hugely excited to join the team at InterContinental London – The O2. This is a fantastic luxury hotel in an amazing location and I’m very much looking forward to bringing my communication skills, leadership and enthusiasm for the hotel and hospitality sector to this new challenge.”
