International hotel group Maritim has promoted Claire Coid to Account Manager, UK & Ireland. In her new role, Coid will take over responsibility for the UK Leisure Market.

Prior to her new position, Coid worked as a sales executive for the Maritim Mauritius properties for three years.

Coid commenting on her appointment said: “I’m delighted with this new position. Exciting things are happening at Maritim Hotels and I am enjoying being part of such an innovative group. I can’t wait to get started.”

With 33 locations across Germany as well as hotels in Mauritius, Egypt, Turkey, Malta and China, The Maritim Hotelgesellschaft is Germany’s largest owner-managed hotel group.

Its portfolio includes centrally located city hotels, conveniently located airport hotels, coastal beach resorts, lakeside family hotels, course-adjoining golf hotels and parkland spa hotels.
