Global data benchmarking firm STR’s preliminary October 2018 data for London indicates significant performance levels and growth.
Year-over-year, supply saw an increase of 1.7% for the month and demand also rose by 8.5%. Meanwhile, occupancy increased by 6.7% to 89.1% and average daily rate (ADR) increased by 6.2% to £160.13, with revenue per available room (RevPAR) up 13.4% to £142.73.

A statement by the group read: “The absolute occupancy and RevPAR levels were the highest for any October in STR’s London database. STR analysts believe that three consecutive weeks with NFL games at Wembley Stadium contributed to London’s October performance.”
