London Hilton on Park Lane has announced the appointment of Julian Catzeflis as its new director of food and drink, venues and partnerships.
The hotel has recently announced the opening of luxury steakhouse, Mr Porter, and Shanghai Me, Dubai’s Asian fine dining pioneer, soon to take its place on the 28th floor.
Other recent additions include the new Park Corner Brasserie and Revery Bar. Run by head chef Jean-Didier Gouges, the brasserie offers a “quintessentially British experience” with a signature Sunday roast.
Meanwhile, Revery offers breakfast and an all-day grazing menu, an afternoon “tea, cakes and cocktails” experience as well as drinks and cocktails until late.
Catzeflis will be leading the growth of the food and drink venues in the hotel and joins from Harrods, where he held the position of senior restaurants operations manager.
He brings with him almost 20 years of experience managing London’s venues including Nobu, Roka, Zuma and Park Chinois.
On his appointment, Catzeflis said: “I am thrilled to join such a legendary hotel at one of the most exciting points in its history. London Hilton on Park Lane is about to become the city’s most exciting food destination, and I am very much looking forward to working with the team as this new era unfolds.”
Matthew Mullan, general manager at London Hilton on Park Lane, added: “We are delighted to welcome Julian to the London Hilton on Park Lane team. His expertise and experience in managing some of London’s most renowned food and drinks venues will be invaluable as we continue our transformation into Mayfair’s leading culinary destination.”
