Apex Hotels has launched an online booking platform for meeting and event rooms that allows customers to book the rooms in the same way they would book bedrooms.

Apex, who has properties in Edinburgh, Dundee and London, claims that it is the first four-star hotel group to offer the online booking service.

The service, which is supplied by Meetings Maker, will allow customers to search their required location, choose a variety of catering options, view live room availability, add amenities, and book and confirm directly on the Apex website.

Lucy McNicoll, Apex Hotels group director of sales, said: “The new booking tool ensures we provide our customers and third parties with complete flexibility and control when booking their meetings and events in our venues across the UK.”

Matthew Stubbs, CEO of Meetings Maker, said: “The deployment of our unique cloud based system by Apex Hotels means their customers can now search, book and pay for meetings in just a few minutes.”
