Montcalm Luxury Hotels is set to open a new 269-room hotel in a new ‘futuristic’, angular building in London’s Shoreditch area.

Located near the Silicon Roundabout at Old Street, famous for its numerous technology startup companies, M by Montcalm will feature bars, business facilities with a club lounge, a wellness centre and gym, a selection of restaurants, a private members club and a rooftop bar.

The hotel will be the fifth property in the group’s portfolio joining the Marble Arch by Montcalm London, The Montcalm at the Brewery London City, and London City Suites by Montcalm.

The management team at Montcalm said: “We are very excited about the launch of M by Montcalm. Although different in character from our existing properties, being an ultra-modern new-build, it will offer the impeccable service and luxury surroundings our guests have come to expect at all our hotels.”

M by Montcalm is due to open in early 2015 and SGP Contracts has been awarded the design and build contract for the project.
