The Georgian House Hotel unveils Harry Potter-themed rooms

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

The Georgian House Hotel in London has unveiled two new Harry Potter-themed rooms designed as replicas of sets from the high-grossing film series.

The 163-year-old property’s new rooms are furnished with trunks, potion bottles, cauldrons and spell books.

Reservations made for the Hogwarts-style chambers will come complete with a Harry Potter ‘package’, including a walking tour of central London landmarks from the films and a trip to the Warner Bros Studio.

Serena von der Heyde, partner at The Georgian House, told The Independent: “The Georgian House Hotel places great emphasis on welcoming families and I really wanted to create something fun for young visitors. When guests arrive we light candles and play music as they enter the Wizard Chambers – it’s a great way to give families a unique stay.

“I have been overwhelmed by the number of young couples coming to stay in them, perhaps drawn by the nostalgia of their youth with the Harry Potter series.”

Prices for the rooms start at £249 per night for the smaller Wizard Chambers or £363 with the Harry Potter studio tour.
