Luxury hotel set to open in Tunbridge Wells

We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

One Warwick Park, a luxury 39-bedroom hotel, is set to open in the historic Pantiles district of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in June.

The property is being developed from the former 10-bedroom Brew House hotel and the adjacent Old School House building. An underground gallery will link the two buildings, showcasing work from local, national and international artists.

The hotel will feature a private dining area and an events space for up to 180 guests, along with four additional food and beverage spaces; the resident’s lounge; A 60-cover restaurant; the terrace; and the ‘snug’.

Meanwhile the Townhouse Boardroom will accomodate for up to eight small meeting, with self catering provisions, WiFi, smart TV as well as an appointed event host, while a double height atrium will offer additional catering space for up to 20 people.

The developers, Markerstudy Leisure, said the Old School House building will keep its 19th Century timber vaults and 15ft arched windows.
