Last month, the Lancaster London created a 1.5-metre-tall gingerbread house, based on the Brothers Grimm story Hansel and Gretel, using 85 kilograms of house-made gingerbread.
The display was made by the pastry team at the hotel, led by head chef pâtissier Radoslav Georgiev, and was located in the hotel’s lobby, complete with life-sized characters.
The Lancaster London raised £1,447.62 for Hospitality Action throughout last year through various initiatives, to which the proceeds from the gingerbread house will be added.
