Norbert Angerer joins The Clumber Park Hotel and Spa

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

The Clumber Park Hotel and Spa based in Nottinghamshire has just announced the appointment of new general manager, Norbert Angerer.

Originally from Germany, Norbert brings to the hotel a wealth of international experience from previous employment at 4-and 5-star hotels based all around the world. “I’m absolutely delighted to be appointed as general manager and I’m already very impressed with what I’ve seen of the hotel so far,” said Norbert. “My goal is to simply build upon all of these and strengthen them so that the operations of the hotel are not only the best that they can possibly be, but that they also create the most welcoming destination for corporate and leisure guests when staying in the area.”
