Manchester’s Copthorne Hotel, located on the Quays, is one of a host of Manchester hot-spots on an exclusive facilities tour organised by the Quays and Visit Manchester.
The business and leisure park is planning to host a showcase of premier locations around Manchester’s historic waterfront for associations on 18 and 19 January.
The Quays combines two of the world’s premier sporting venues, some of the UK’s most exciting cultural venues and a host of top-quality hotels, bars and restaurants in one square mile.
Associations from all over the UK will be invited to experience all that this unique destination has to offer. In two jam-packed days, delegates will be able to visit five world-class venues, including Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Imperial War Museum (IWM) North, the Lowry and the Copthorne Hotel Manchester.
The first day will offer guests the opportunity to explore the Quays, before being taken on a tour of Old Trafford, followed by drinks and canapés at IWM North and dinner and entertainment at the Lowry.
Overnight accommodation is provided by the 4-star Copthorne Hotel, before a busy Saturday schedule, which will include a tour of the Lowry’s conference and events spaces and Lancashire County Cricket Club’s stunning 1,000-capacity venue, the Point.
Hannah Laffan, conference and events sales executive at Lancashire County Cricket Club, said: “The Quays is very excited to be hosting its first association trip. We have an extremely unique offering here, in that all the venues work together.
“Businesses and associations can book across one or more of our venues to make their event truly memorable – and all in the beautiful waterside setting of the Quays. We are sure the event will be a success and that all who sign up will have a fantastic experience,” she added.
